Al Murad moves to GenetiQ Cloud with a smooth, staged migration

Al Murad, a customer since 2018, has successfully completed a staged migration from GenetiQ On-Premise (formerly known as Intact iQ) to GenetiQ Cloud (formerly known as GenetiQ). The transition was designed to be straightforward and low risk, with GenetiQ On-Premise and GenetiQ Cloud running side by side before Al Murad moved fully onto the cloud - keeping day-to-day work running as normal throughout.

For a fast-moving, multi-site specialist retailer, continuity was key. GenetiQ supported Al Murad with a structured go-live plan, handling preparation, testing and security behind the scenes so teams could stay focused on customers. The result was a smooth changeover, with no downtime and no impact on end customers.

With GenetiQ Cloud now live, Al Murad’s 120 users have secure, browser-based access from any device, enabling consistent working across stores, franchises and head office without desktop installations. Built-in automation and business intelligence have reduced manual effort and improved real-time visibility, helping teams respond faster and make decisions with greater confidence.

That improved day-to-day performance shows up in practical ways. AFD integration speeds up address entry and strengthens data quality through verified search and validation at the point of capture - helping reduce errors and failed payments. And with Business Metrics, teams get role-based dashboards that can be tailored to what matters most to them, highlighting KPIs, margins and emerging trends early. AI-driven alerts and a full audit trail add another layer of control and accountability across a busy multi-site operation.

The thing that has really impressed us is the day-to-day speed and reliability that GenetiQ Cloud offers. It’s helped our teams run even more efficiently and kept operations flowing smoothly across our sites,” said Ismail Saleh, Information Systems Manager at Al Murad.

The team supporting our move have been super-responsive, and the process was smooth from start to finish. Moving to a platform that’s ready for the next stage of our growth has already improved productivity,” said Ismail Saleh.

The migration is supporting Al Murad’s wider operating model, including secure access for remote teams working in different time zones, while maintaining control, consistency and visibility across locations.

Built on GenetiQ’s proven foundations, GenetiQ Cloud combines trusted ERP capability with cloud-native technology, supporting scalable operations, integrations and ongoing enhancements over time.

This project shows how multi-site retailers can modernise in a controlled way, keeping teams productive throughout,” said Glen Carruthers, Account Manager at Intact. “And it’s great to see the GenetiQ Cloud platform already delivering performance and productivity improvements.”
