FAQs: Toolbank integration with your GenetiQ system

Which GenetiQ products support the Toolbank integration?

The GenetiQ On-Premise (version R36 or later) and GenetiQ Cloud both support the integration. GenetiQ Xline is not currently supported.
How often is stock data sent to Toolbank?

A scheduled task sends your stock levels every night—even if no changes have occurred.
Can I adjust the recommended orders before confirming them? Yes. RPOs arrive in your system with a distinct status and can be modified before being approved and sent to Toolbank.
How are confirmed orders sent to Toolbank?

The system sends confirmed purchase orders via FTP using a pre-set file naming convention, and updates the order status to “EDI”.
Is this integration available out of the box?

Yes. It is included in supported versions of GenetiQ On-Premise and GenetiQ Cloud with no additional licence fees, but setup by  GenetiQ consultants is required. 
Can I test the setup before going live? Yes. You can use local folders to simulate the FTP workflow during testing.
