How long have you been a part of the GenetiQ team?

It's been 8 years now! 

Tell us about your role at GenetiQ…

I’m the Xline and Hardware Account Manager, working closely with customers to support their needs.

Copy and paste

What do you enjoy the most about your job?

Getting a “thank you” from a customer - it really makes my day. 

A colleague is buying you lunch - what are you having?

You can’t go wrong with something from M&S Food!

 

How do you make our customers' lives easier?

 I act as their voice internally, making sure their needs are heard and acted on. 

Favourite place to travel?

 Malta - I love it there. 

Dream dinner guests - who are they?

Alan Shearer, Matthew Perry, and Andi Oliver - that would be an interesting evening! 

And what do you like to do outside of work? 

 I enjoy a nice long walk (especially if it ends at the pub!) and boxing.

I joined the marketing team in October 2023. I studied English Language and Literature at the University of Liverpool, then completed a Master's degree in Creative and Critical Writing. At GenetiQ, I write blog articles, news items, and press releases, look after our customer newsletter, and manage our social media channels. The best part of my job is interviewing colleagues and customers to gather insights for content - the people at GenetiQ make my day-to-day so much brighter. Outside of work, you'll find me training for my Hyrox competition, exploring markets in London with friends, or abroad!
