On the 20th – 21st of September, the building materials industry came together in grand style for the highly anticipated BMF Annual Conference & Awards 2023. This yearly gathering, a highlight in the industry calendar, celebrates the exceptional achievements and innovations that have shaped the sector over the past year. This year, the event was sponsored by Unilin Insulation and was held in the prestigious Hilton Metropole in Birmingham.
The first day kicked off with the BMF Golf Tournament held at the Forest of Arden Golf Course. Sponsored by Monument Tools, this event united golf enthusiasts from the industry for an enjoyable day of golfing!
Later that evening, the BMF Members Networking Dinner gave attendees the opportunity to connect with peers and industry professionals. As the sun set on an evening of networking and collaboration, our Intacters enjoyed making some great and valuable connections.
On day 2, the BMF Members’ Day Conference itself was packed full of insightful sessions, workshops, and an exhibition that give industry suppliers the opportunity to showcase their products and services to members. The workshops for members covered a diverse range of topics, including Member Value, Supply Chain Collaboration, Skills Development, and Government Influence.
The grand finale of the event, the BMF Annual Awards Dinner, was a glamorous affair that recognised the outstanding contributions of individuals and companies within the industry. One standout moment of the night was when Intact was awarded “Most Engaged Service Member of the Year”. This recognition served as a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in the building materials sector and we were delighted to have received such honours.
