Intact are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the contract to install Intact iQ at Premier Contract Supplies (PCS). Covering the UK from their 7 offices, the family run firm was setup in 1998 by Vince Caldicott in Frimley; they have since expanded into one of the leading bathroom contract supply companies in the UK.
Forming the backbone of their success is the close relationship they formed with key housebuilders and manufacturers of bathroom equipment. The project is to replace the accounting solution Exchequer and several integrated solutions from other software authors. These had served them well for several years, but increasingly the drive for efficiency and improved customer services meant that PCS started to research the market for alternatives.
The process for selection started in Q4 2019 but was postponed briefly due to Covid-19. Following a series of workshops and demonstrations it shortly became obvious that the inherent flexibility of Intact iQ, its scalability and breadth of functionality made it a strong contender when pitted against other world-class applications. It was the sheer speed and ease of use, combined with Intact’s experience in the marketplace, that finalised the decision.
The 50-user system will be used throughout the business tackling finance, order processing, stock, logistics, warehousing, projects, CRM and Business Intelligence; all within the same application.

NOTE: Premier Contract Supplies originally bought their Intact system from BlueRock Systems, which was acquired by Intact in 2022.
