Can you describe a typical day in your position at Intact?

In the Project Management Office, we look after getting all our new Intact iQ customers live. A typical day for an Implementation Consultant will vary depending on what stage the project is at. I may be documenting customers’ requirements, configuring their dataset in advance of User Acceptance Testing or working with a client to prepare for going live.

 

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received? 

Never be afraid to say, “I don’t know”. I think it’s great advice and is particularly applicable to my role in Intact. I don’t know everything, and I learn something new every day.

What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done? 

Shark diving. I don’t think I’ll ever do it again.

 

How long have you been working at Intact?  

1 year

What's the most rewarding part of your job when it comes to serving our customers? 

Getting a customer live after several months working together is very rewarding. It’s great to hear customers talking about the improvements iQ has made to their business when it's fully implemented.

 

What's the one thing about your role that customers might be surprised to learn?  

I often find that some customers are surprised to learn we work on multiple projects at a time.
